Releasing The Need To Be Perfect

Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need to make sure it’s perfect before you start.

You don’t need to know how you’ll succeed before you put your thing out there.

Perfect… it’s an illusion that you create in your mind. There is no such thing as “perfect”. It’s a mental construct.

However, perfectionism isn’t altogether bad. According to Psychology Today, when healthy, perfectionism can be self-motivating and drive us to overcome adversity and achieve success.

It’s when we’re striving to avoid failure that it then becomes a slow and painful road to unhappiness and unfulfillment.

In today’s short video, I talk to you about how I release the need to be perfect whenever my “Little Miss Perfect” persona shows up.

My hope is this will inspire you to keep showing up for yourself and those who need the special gifts and talents that only you have.
