EP.181: Processing Emotions

Emotional Mindset, Money Mindset, Podcast

Processing emotions is about learning to understand, make sense of and deal with emotions in healthy productive ways. But what exactly is an emotion, in the first place? An emotion is defined as a conscious mental reaction experienced as a strong feeling accompanied by physiological and behavioral changes in the body.

It’s important to know that the worst thing you will ever experience is an emotion, even in the worst circumstances. And since emotions aren’t deadly, that’s a good thing.

Today on the Make More Money as a Dietitian Podcast, Christine discusses the importance of recognizing where your emotions come from, how to better manage them, and how they are one of the key components of actualizing the results in your life.

  • Why processing your emotions is important to getting the results you want in your life & career.
  • How your brain works to always seek pleasure and avoid pain, at all costs, and how to override that.
  • A simple way to process your emotions that even a 5th grader can understand and implement.
