How I Stay Sane Dealing With All The Clients I Have

Blog, Business, Emotional Mindset

One of the most common questions I get is “How do you handle all of the clients you have? Don’t you get overwhelmed??”

I get it. Been there, done that. I’ve held space for clients and felt overwhelmed and overworked to the point where I was going to stop providing 1:1 services.

But what I’ve learned is that overwhelm is a choice. It’s the one emotion we don’t have to feel; we choose it based on our thoughts.

Here’s why this is true: A couple of years ago, I had about 10-12 private coaching clients. I would get on calls with several of them thinking “This is a lot.” “I don’t think I can do this much longer.” Blah, blah, blah.

But now I currently have close to 20 clients. That’s twice as much as before. I love working with them. I feel energized after our calls. I look forward to work every single day.

What’s the difference? My thoughts about the work I’m doing.

Here are the thoughts that keep me going every day:

  • “This is sacred work.”
  • “I love what I do!”
  • “I’m here to help.”
  • “My work is important.”

I am no longer choosing thoughts that cause overwhelm me. Instead, I intentionally choose thoughts that are energizing, positive, and empowering. I choose thoughts about my clients that ground me in love & compassion for them.

This is how I stay sane dealing with all the clients I have.

If you’re working with clients 1:1 right now and you’re feeling overwhelmed, just know that overwhelm is a choice. You can manage your energy, and your mind, by being intentional with what you choose to think.

It’s that simple. It really is.

This is an example of the mindset work we do in my private coaching program. Maybe you’re curious about what that would look like for you?

Let’s connect and talk about your goals and how I can help you get there. Grab your free 30-minute consultation here.
