Today I’d like to talk to you about something most of us don’t think about when we’re just getting started in business, which is hiring your first employee.
Eventually, you’ll get to the point when you can no longer do “all of the things”and you’ll need help. Sometimes bringing on an intern is a good idea, but at some point, you’ll need a dedicated person who will be there to support you in your business on a regular basis.
As dietitians, we are trained to have exquisite attention to detail and we inevitably will want that same quality in the person we hire. That’s why it’s so important that you have that same attention to detail when hiring!
Even if you’re bringing on an independent contractor, you’ll want to make sure you’re bringing on the “right fit” person. And being a “nice person” doesn’t always make someone right for the job.
So take a look at today’s video to gain some “behind the scenes” insight into the simplified steps of hiring your first employee/independent contractor. It’s a good idea to learn now what you’ll likely need to get prepared for later!
This is what we do in my private coaching program. We work on positioning you to hire your first employee to help your nutrition business grow and flourish exponentially.
