There’s a thin line between understanding something in theory and KNOWING something because you’ve experienced it. And it’s super-important to know the difference, especially when you’re working to help change people’s lives.
Today, I’m sharing with you the difference between understanding & knowing, and why I believe it’s difficult to teach something you truly don’t know.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN IN THIS EPISODE
- My story of going from understanding a health consequence, in theory, to actually knowing it through real-life experience.
- Why I don’t think it’s a good idea to teach something just based on theory (this is why we’re required to have an internship experience, y’all).
- Why you shouldn’t charge premium rates if you’re not yet confident in your ability to provide the results to match
- My opinion on mindset work and why not everyone should be teaching it without having the theoretical understanding of the science and personal transformation of there own to back it up.
